The 2nd Women in Motion fundraising luncheon for BayKids Studios with hosts Hooman and Marcus from Alice Radio and Breathe Radio was nothing but pure elegance and inspiration. Attendees decorated the movie-themed tables with creative brilliance and celebrated the courage and creativity of our young BayKids filmmakers.

BayKids screened films created by hospitalized children to an enthusiastic crowd at our 2014 Film Premiere at the deYoung Museum. It was a heartwarming red carpet event, celebrating the power of creativity and courage.
On March 9th, we launched our mentoring program, BayKids in Motion, to help our young stars continue to learn, be inspired, and express themselves creatively beyond the hospital.
Held at LucasFilm, the exciting day featured story artist Rej Bourdage and animator Kevin O’Hara, two industry superstars. They inspired over fifty enthusiastic BayKids participants as they shared their expertise and creativity.

Co-chairs Suzy Lester and Alison Caron and their talented table designers transformed the ballroom into a dreamy movie wonderland. Alice Radio’s Hooman Khalili and Marcus Osborne were the distinguished Celebrity Table Judges. Hooman and Marcus entertained everyone while having the impossible task of choosing the winning tables.
BayKids Studios star Kenna and her star mom Kelly Stuck spoke from their hearts as did BayKids Founder and Chairman of the Board, Dave Spencer. Billy Harris of St Clair’s Catering added his golden touch to the event. From Pink Ladies, the women in leopard skins to sari’s, this amazing event celebrated BayKids Stars and reminded everyone of how powerful and vital it is to help children heal through the art of filmmaking.
